Santa Ana College to Host Super Regional Playoffs
SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) baseball team will be the host site for the Southern California Super Regional Baseball Playoffs this weekend, May 16-18. The top-seeded Dons (34-11) will host #4 Irvine Valley College (31-15), #5 Southwestern College (34-11) and #11 Bakersfield College (30-17).
Irvine Valley will be the home team in the first game of the Super Regionals and will play Southwestern at 11:00 a.m. at Santa Ana College. The Dons will play Bakersfield in the second game at 3:00 p.m.
Game three will be played between the loser of game one and game two at Golden West College at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Games four and five will be played at Santa Ana College at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The championship games will also be played at Santa Ana College. Game six will be played at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday and game seven, if necessary, will be played 30 minutes immediately following game six. |
