SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) baseball team defeated visiting Citrus College 14-4 in the second game of the Hornet Hardball Classic. The win improves the Dons to 19-7 while the Owls fall to 11-14.

Crispin Tarango (Diamond Bar HS) put the Dons up 3-0 in the bottom of the second inning when he hit a three-run home run scoring Caleb Boyer (Temecula Valley HS) and James Davis (Garden Grove HS).

SAC extended its lead to 7-0 in the third inning when Davis hit a grand slam home run. It was his second home run in as many games as yesterday he hit a three-run home run giving him seven RBIs in the last two games.

Tarango plated two more runs in the fifth inning with a double to centerfield to put the Dons up 9-4. Travis Leverson (Chaparral HS) hit a two-run double in the seventh inning followed by a two-run single by Matt Allen (Orange HS) giving SAC the 14-4 victory.
