Dons Hit Three Two-Run Home Runs in 6-1 Victory

SANTA ANA, CA - The Santa Ana College (SAC) baseball team used three two-run home runs to defeat visiting Palomar College 6-1 in a non-conference game.

James Davis (Garden Grove HS) hit the first home run in the second inning, scoring Caleb Boyer (Temecula Valley HS) who singled earlier in the inning. The next Dons' home run came off the bat of Crispin Tarango (Diamond Bar HS) in the fourth inning. His shot scored Casey Rihn (La Habra HS) who singled up the middle of the infield.

The final home run came from Boyer in the fifth, scoring Kyle Hardman (Mission Viejo HS) who singled right before Boyer's at-bat. Daniel Fenwick (Servite HS) earned the victory pitching six and two thirds innings while allowing one run on seven hits. He had five strikeouts to just one walk.
