former dancer with Benita Bike's DanceArt, the Gloria
Newman Dance Theater, and the Regina Klenjoski Dance Company,
Heather Gillette is recognized as a powerful and sensitive
dancer. Ms. Gillette is an active professional, who has
toured the United States and Australia. In Los Angeles,
Ms. Gillette has performed with Loretta Livingston
and Dancers, as well as with Notoriety, Inc. She has
performed as a guest artist with Utah Opera and Utah Repertory
Dance Theatre, and is a former company member of the Performing
Dance Company. Before joining the Santa Ana College dance
department, Ms. Gillette was on the dance faculty at Utah
State University and Brigham Young University. Ms.
Gillette teaches modern and jazz dance technique, repertory,
and directs the Santa Ana College Dance Touring Ensemble.
She also serves as assistant production director of dance
concerts. Her choreography has been seen in the gala performance
of the Southwest Regional American College Dance Festival
2000, in the musical "Grease", and at concert venues
in southern California. Ms. Gillette is an alumna of California
State University, Long Beach and the University of Utah.
