 Ballet
The
SAC ballet curriculum provides instruction from beginning to advanced levels.
General students as well as dance majors enroll in classes, according to level.
Serious dance students study ballet in order to improve their technique in all
areas of dance. Courses emphasize technique, proper alignment, terminology and
mastering the movement vocabulary appropriate to each level. Advanced students
study pointe technique. Live piano accompaniment provides a range of musical choices
for work on phrasing and performance. |
