Currently:

I'm teaching Art, Computer Graphics and Multimedia at Santa Ana College. Some of the software applications I use are: Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator, PageMaker, In Design, Dreamweaver, Flash, Director, Premiere, and After Effects.

We need these tools to produce quality communications in art, education, and business. But knowing how to"push the buttons" is just a starting point. I also teach information communication, elements and principles of design, computer literacy, teambuilding, career development and project management. Combining technical, design and work skills gives my students a competitive edge in whatever career goals they choose.

In 1999 I completed my "Online Teaching Certificate" at UCLA Extension, all on the Internet! Sometimes I teach an online course for Cerro Coso College and use Online lessons to enrich my face to face classes.. I enjoy the Online because students have an equal opportunity to participate in discussions where we interact and help each other learn and Face to Face working with students, interacting, observing and adjusting my teaching to meet their needs.

Recently I taught computer graphics and multimedia courses for Antelope Valley College (AVC), College of the Canyons (COC), Cerro Coso(CCC) and California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB).

Some of the classes I teach:

  • Introduction to Computer Graphics
  • Digital Art with Photoshop
  • Desktop Publishing with PageMaker and In Design
  • Digital special effects with After Effects

  • Introduction to Multimedia for the Web with Photoshop, Image Ready, Dreamweaver, and Flash
  • Computer Illustration: Illustrator
