Through years of observation, nationally recognized artists Dean De Cocker and Matthew Furmanski have utilized machines to inspire their sculpture. Each uses attention to detail to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Faculty juried student art from both Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College will be presented. Included will be paintings, drawings, sculpture, ceramics, blown glass, computer graphics, jewelry, stained glass and photography. Live student award ceremony starts at 6:00 pm on May 1.

ACCESS Student Art Exhibition

Santa Ana College presents a juried exhibition of student artwork from the Orange County Department of Education’s ACCESS program for at-risk youth. The
exhibit opens with a gala reception featuring musical entertainment and poetry written by ACCESS students.

The Legacy Project
El Toro Marine Base Documentary
August 6 – September 5
Opening Reception: Saturday, August 1, 7:00-10:00 pm
"The Legacy Project", established by Jerry Burchfield, Mark Chamberlain, Jacques Garnier, Robert Johnson, Douglas McCulloh and Clayton Spada, has been dedicated to the long-term documentation of the conversion of the former Marine Corps Air Station, El Toro, into the Great Park of Orange County. This project will be presented as a vibrant, interactive, multi-media installation.
